Me & Finland

Helsinki is a capital city of Finland and is regarded as World Design Capital in 2012. My photos presenting today can’t represent the actual high summer temperature in July now. For me, the daily heat wave is a bit cruel to me in Thailand. Bleeding nose was my new experience in Helsinki. I am not saying that I am happy with my bleeding nose. But while it was freezing cold in early March last year, I also felt warm from unexpected sunshine. It is lovely Helsinki that I want to share my fondest moments. There is no doubt about my crazy obsession with snow, snow and snow. My ultimate dream is to have a chance to clean up the snow whether it is on the road or in front of your house. It is so true proverb saying ” the grass is always greener on the other side” applying to me as most of the time I am longing for snow. It is complicated to say, but it is a true calling. Apart from snow, I love Finnish design. I went to the Design Museum with my Finnish friend, Satu and we enjoyed the design journey a lot. Have a look at this Finnish Design Guide! SIS. Deli & Cafe has actually brought me to Helsinki. I love its design DNA : simple and chic approach, but I forgot to go there eventually. I dreamt about having coffee there.
