My hiking mania at Khao Kaen Chan

As the highest mountain in Ratchaburi, 141 meters high Khao Kaen Chan is always fondly chosen to be our hiking spot after morning market strolling therapy on most Sunday.

We do care for the final destination a lot because it is a place we have our full course breakfast with a view. A picnic mode on Sunday! We have some companions uphill, there are several hill dogs that are still afraid of iPad. I always told them to smile and say “cheese”, but they mostly bark until being fed with something.

You may feel lucky a bit as there is a road leading to its peak where you can see a view of Ratchaburi. If you go up further, you will have a chance to see the beautiful buddha image, called as Phra Phuttha Nirarokhantarai Chaiwat Chaturathit which is one of 4 buddha images built by our beloved King Rama IX to protect his people. Happy Sunday, everyone!
