eat.responsibly day at Bo.lan.
Today is already the 3rd event of the farmers market at Bo.lan where organic and artisan products are shown for exploring and buying. You may like to visit there if you are in Bangkok on the first Saturday of the month. I went there to see what it was like today. I love visiting farmers’ markets for local produces , and for updating the organic movements. The parking lot of Bo.lan is quite small, but still charming to be the small farmers market. There are many product varieties such as organic rices , mangoes, artisan dried fruits , soap, seeds, vegetables and etc. My fondest impression is only Kanom Jeen Nam Ya with lots of home-grown flowers (35 baht / bowl). You may adore a subtle color of butterfly pea from Kanom Jeen noodles. The vendors here are mostly friendly and informative about what they do. I bought Kanom Jeen to eat responsibly at home. It was so delicious!
You may ask if they all have IFOAM standard or not…Probably not. But at least, the approach of this event was initiated for a good clause. When we care about what we eat and where it comes from..It is already a good sign!
