Modena Cathedral

Modena is where you still can see people walk or use bicycles as the means of commuting in its city center. I like Modena as it is very compact and charming town. Those who adore less touristic feel will fall in love with Modena easily. If you plan to come here for a day, a visit to Duomo di Modena would be worth your time. You will experience the finest products of the Romanesque period in Italy here. Modena Cathedral is a Romanesque church of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Modena-Nonantola and is also on the Unesco World Heritage list. You will enjoy a peaceful moment inside the cathedral. Don’t forget to explore the work of Wiligelmo , an Italian sculptor who created the stunning reliefs at the west facade. And Good news :  the admission to Modena Cathedral is free 😉
